so I might have the chance to hunt some wild boar in a farmers field, shooting is probably going to be pretty easy.... my question is what to do with the animal afterward ?

how easy are these things going to be to dress out, not like regular pigs as the skin is as thick as my ass and twice as hairy....

any words of wisdom ?, I am going to try to get a small one.... smallest one I can find.

Its going to be almost like skinning(sorry, gutting that is) a deer, really easy actually.
You will find an extra "shield" of flesh in the shoulder/vital area.

Hair is coarse like wire.....beware the tusks, they are sharp.

PS: The ribs are GREAT for BBQing....
Good luck!

It should be no different than skinning a deer or bear or common piggie !!

Well, unless you're planning on hunting on a nice fall afternoon, I'd suggest dressing before the hunt, especially with them shiny shaved nuts.

Talk to Clarke, he's seen me do close to a dozen of the buggers in 2 days, and was armsdeep himeslf.

They are very easy to gut/dress, as most have said, very similar to a deer inside except the heart is carried lower.
If its a small boar your after, you wont have to worry about shoulder plates etc. The skin isnt any thicker than a domestic pig, and cuts much easier than most big game because of the lack of hair. Very lean meat compared to domestic pig, and darker, and better tasting.
