Hunting with a Holstered Air Pistol

I've tried searching this forum but couldn't find an answer. Could I go hunting in Ontario with an air pistol in a holster (not concealed)?

Search through your hunting regs to see if there is anything there.

Here in BC you cannot shoot Game with any handgun, and that pretty much precludes carrying an air pistol for grouse.

Might try over on the Canadian Airguns Forum too. Bunch more guys over there that have some direct experience.

Yes in ontario you can hunt with an air pistol . I beleive there is no reason you can't carry it in a holster .

Important note is that it must be open carried as otherwise it could be considered a concealed weapon.

can an air pistol be brought hunting with another rifle ? i.e id like to go coyote hunting at a local spot where squirrels are destroying our club house, can i bring an air pistol to dispatch them while coyote hunting ?
