Hunting with a milsurp rifle

Not sure why the SKS is getting slagged. It's accurate, cycles reliably in the cold, and it's light. And who cares if you bang it around. Will take deer easy if you hit the vitals.

I don't find them to be an easy carry...and not exactly svelte at 8.5 lbs. A bit rectangular in that they can't be carried balanced on the open fingers of your dominant hand...want to tip one way or the other it seems. They are pretty robust and reliable though.
Accuracy is MEH
