at this IPSC Nationals, there were 16 to 18 people per squad. Would you consider the waiting time for your turn to shoot excessive or just right? I always get the reason 'It's fun to be at the range shooting the match', but most times, it's just that you want the day to be over and done with.

Yeah, squibload is right!!! If you add up all your times @ the stages, it ends up being approx. 4mins. hehehe All that money spent on lodging, travelling, and time wasted waiting for 4mins. And your goal is to go quickier!!!!!

Sounds like competitive trap shooting.....shoot for 1/2hr. wait 4hrs....shoot for another 1/2 hr. wait another 4hrs......shoot 1/2hr......wait 4 hrs..... by the time your'e on your handicap targets your tired from sitting around all day in the sun! I didn't know IPSC was the same!

the waiting was unexpected but nth could be done...you cannot predict all the broken steel and props. The smaller squads would be nice but hard to do due to the # of shooters we had.

Yes roro all that for 4 minuts. When you think about it a D class shooter has a lot more fun than a master class.

I suppose they could have split the squads into 2 groups of 8, and arranged for one group to shoot in the mornings, while the other group shot in the afternoons. You would have shot twice as often, and then left earlier.

Unfortunately, Range 6 would have blown that schedule away and you still would have been waiting around forever.

Yes range 6 was a challenge to say the least.

I R/O'd it on Friday....7 popper malfunctions!!! Argh!

But honestly they were my favorite stages to shoot!!

or, if they had a few less med. - lrg. coursed of fire & 2 or 3 more
speed shoots (as they're suppose too ? ? ? ?), than the flow would have been much smoother.

There were no speed shoots, why ? no draw & blast. so, unfair to any shooter who may be slow on the move (for whatever reason) & could atleast be competitive if he/she can shoot fast and straight.

I personally always preffered longer courses of run & gun, but there should have been atleast 3 speed shoots (ICS TYPE). If not yet ICS classified, where better to shoot & get ICS classified

It was a fun match & boy did I stink up this one:rolleyes: , I now have to show up at the B.C. Nats. & shoot straight  , to clear my not so good name.

Stop Whinning one of US was There for 4 days. I wish all days went as smooth as when you were there. Thanks agian for excellent Job R.O.ing. See you in sept

True IPSC1 team give a group hug, and I even got cookies and very thoughtful fellow from out west who got more then his fair share of heat and sun came back the next day brought me a bottle of gatorade. A Serious BIG THANK YOU to everbody who dug in help out on the range from hell.

I think we should have a vote for ENSHOOTER to not have to work at all next year. He's CRO'd some massive stages in the last few years and worked his bag off (really he has, it was sitting on the ground on Saturday, it fell right off)
