Husky sight hoods

What is a decent rounded shaped substitute for the 640 and 1600 series? Originals are few and far between.

Does anyone have any measurements as to make a copy? Better yet, anyone have any sitting in their parts bin? lol

Anything within 0.690" and 0.750" will work. Remington front sight hood works (but they have flat sides), Browning and Winchester too.
Except for the elusive local gunshop, the only place where you may get original is TEC.

The originals were a full inch outside diameter and an inch in length, assuming they didn't change from the 1950's models. There is a flat on the bottom, 7/16" wide, and the gap were is slides onto the sight base is 7/32". Also a couple of small protrusions at the back where it locks into notches in the sight base. I'll post pictures later when I get a chance.
