Just picked up a Husqvarna 1640 in 30-06

Its in good shape just curious if any one here knows alot about them and any one who owns one if they like it.

Husqvarna made really good rifles. The operative word is 'made'. They don't any more. It's the same company that makes the chain saws, et al.
The Model 1640 is a modified Mauser. Production started in 1953 and was discontinued in 1967. The company's rifle production was sold to Carl Gustav in 1970.
