Husquavarna parts .

Anyone know where I could source a Husquavarna 1600/1640 extractor? Allegedly, it's the same as a K/98 version, but I have my doubts?

Any suggestions, would be appreciated.

No, the 98 extractor will not interchange.

But you may be able to modify one. I haven't tried to interchange them, but I did see an M96 swede extractor modified to fit a 1640.

You will need to do some tedious honing and grinding to make it work. The bolts are slightly different in length.
