Is there any way to lighten up and improve the factory single stage trigger ? or is there a decent replacement trigger around these days we can get in Canada ?

Google "Huber Concepts". I have one on my Husky full stocked carbine, I gather you can specify your desired poundage, mine came in at a little lighter pull than I really like in a hunting rifle but came that way with the used gun. I perhaps would suggest that you have a knowlegeble gunsmith work on the factory trigger to bring it somewhat closer to your desired specs. Bardil sp?, who is a very knowlegable Husquavarna expert on this fourm, did not seem to recommend D.I Y. work on their triggers due to safety issues but said they can usually be brought to heel by a good gunsmith. bobert

I have two. I find one has a trigger I can live with just fine, but I got Shane at Reliable to lighten up the other one.

The Husqvarna 4000/4100 rifles are very nice, but their triggers not so much.
I wanted one quite badly, so tried 3 or 4 of them. Even with the assistance of a very good trigger smith, I could not get happy with the triggers.
He could easily get them lighter, but could not seem to eliminate creep. I finally gave up on my Husqvarna dreams and ended up selling all of them.
I found that there were other good looking rifles out there with triggers more to my liking.

I never did try the "Huber Concept" trigger.......It might have provided the solution, but I could not be certain. It would have had to come from the USA, so was both a troublesome and expensive "possibility".
