A guy at work claims to have a line on a Husqvarna lever action. Though he does sometimes get his data "mixed up". Never seen or heard of one. Anyone have/seen?
Thanks
Clint

I haven't,;)but then the list of things I haven't heard of is long and distinguised:p. Might be a good question to direct to Baribal in the Husqvarna sticky at the top of this forum.

I've chased down a couple of Sako levers that turned out to be Winchester 88s.. The Sako lever is on my wish list but the cost and scarcity always scares me. If it is a Sako it has some value.

If he means a Henry type of machanism, then, no, HVA never made any.

They made a Martini-Henry rifle, but I realy doubt he would find one here, not at that price, anyways.
The other "lever" guns they made were Clef-Serpent, Roux, English (or, Anglais) and Lefaucheux types. Those were either shotguns or Cape Guns. The only common mechanism is the Lefaucheux type, and the in the Cape Gun configuration they are very rare in Canada (less than 50 for sure).

I don't ignore it, the OP says Husqvarna, and unless the guy (the "owner") is really confused, to me it's hard to mix Husqvarna with Sako..... I personally won't speculate on what it is, unless I at least see a picture of it.
