Husqvarna Mauser 6.5 x 55 questions

Hey everyone,

A while ago I traded a crappy Mossberg 500 for this rifle. I don't know too much about Husqvarna rifles, only that they are nice accurate sporters and it seemed like a quality rifle. The bipod is an actual Parker Hale bipod so I knew that was almost worth the trade anyways.

I can't really find anything online with something that looks similar, can anybody give me some info on what I actually have an what it's worth?

I haven't been able to find one with a similar looking stock is the thing. Looked all over tradex.

You have a 96 action and military barrel in an aftermarket stock. Closer pics would perhaps let us see if the stock has some real figure to it and the quality of the work.

Military 96 action that has been sporterized. Should have a date on top of receiver ring, under front scope base.After market stock. Probably not a custom stock. Closer pictures would tell us more. Sites, bolt and any markings.

I have the same stock on one of mine. Comb is so high making using open sites difficult. Probably why the high rings. The bolt looks like someone bent. Mine shoots very well. As long as the barrel is good they are good shooters. I bought mine cheap and had planned to use it as a wet weather gun but I found it shoots cast bullets really well so I have shooting gongs with it.

Thanks everyone. What's the value on those Parker Hale bipods? I can't really find anything from Canada. Only UK prices.
