Hello, I was recently given my grandfathers husqvarna in 7mm Mag. I’ve done a bit of research trying to turn up the year and model information but I haven’t been able to lock it down! I’ll attach a few pictures in hopes that someone with a broader knowledge of these rifles can help out! Thanks in advance!

I left for Alberta right outta highschool! Haha. Been here since 2008. Can’t blame ya for getting outta town though, really not what it was growing up.
It’s definitely changed since the good old days! I grew up in westsyde but had friends all over the place haha.

I can't give you the info Baribal would, but it definitely is not a 9000. The 9000 (labeled that by the US importer Tradewinds) was a Husqvarna 1900-actioned rifle. This rifle is built on the earlier Husqvarna 1640 action. Likely made around 1965-66. Looks as if it was imported by Tradewinds, but am not certain about the designation they might have applied. Nice that it has the Tradewinds/Timney H-1 trigger. Recoil pad is likely not original. Baribal can straighten this out.

Baribal has spoken, he said it’s a model 3000 crown grade.
