Hybrid FN/Enfield Butt

Recently acquired this from a DND source. FN C1 pistol grip crudely mated with a C No 7 DP butt. Presumably done to allow cadets to do C7 drill? I also have a bag of parts with barel cut into 4 inch sections and a 1950 Long Branch receiver cut into 3 pieces. Such a shame.

Back in the day there was a PG conversion for Cooey 82s so this would not surprise me.

They are kosher.
They were used for drill by cadets when the C1 came into use.

I think my old cadet unit modified some magazines by adding an extension that served as an handle instead. That way the rifle could still be used for range practice.

I never understood why we just didn’t use the old rifle drill instead.
