Hydrostatically stabalised bullets...

They look a bit like the Russian 9mm armour penetrating rounds. (small flat protruding point on a blunt nosed bullet)

Finally a Kieth style bullet for Modern rifle velocities! I got a kick out of the 'environmentally friendly' part of the sales pitch, friendly as long as your in the environment behind it and not in front of it.

Wonder what the cal list will look like?
 
Modern science is marvelous, a SWC , that's hard and heavy, for deep, in line penetration, it's a wonder that no-one had thought of that already!! Probably very cost effective.

I heard they were planning for their next move to use a, I believe they call it casing, made out of brass of all things, to hold a percussion cap, smokeless powder with the bullet seated on top. Apparently it allows for rifles to fire more than 1 shot per couple minutes. Whole business sounds like the Devil's work to me.

They look like bullets to me. Not like the AP that I've seen.
 
Come on you guys, you just don't realize what a modern, scientific invention these things are.
Are you forgetting they are "hydrostatically stablaized?"
What a fantastic advancement in the firearms world!
 
I can't spell it either Bruce, but i don't think you're taking this invention serious enough, when a moose finds out that they are "hydroscoped", the animal will lay down and die without a shot being fired.....Ben

Posts 9 & 10 have it figured out, ... marketing.

Shooters, or at least some, are suckers. Not that this isn't a good bullet, it may well be.

Woodleigh make good bullets, and I've used them, but I've never seen a reasonably priced bullet from them.

Imo hydrostatics, is just marketing.
 
I can't figure out their ballistics gel pictures. What did they shoot into the set A? At what velocity?

The wound channel appears small, but it's definitely bigger than the FMJ load they use in Gel C. I'm guessing it's more for dangerous game?
 
they look about as aerodynamic as a cereal bowl
then again hippies made a pie plate fly in an uncomprehensible sport so i may be wrong
wouldnt that be the equivalent impact of a hollow point? just way more expensive with less tissue dammage
