I was thinking about trying out some Hyper Velocity ammo in my Ruger MKIII. The ones I was looking at are 32 grain @ 1640fps (CCI Segmented HP HV) and I am wondering if 1640fps is too much or unsafe to be shooting out of a semi-automatic handgun. Anyone have experience with these?

No experience in a pistol but Ruger are built like tank and I will not be worried about shooting this kind of ammo
