Trying to buy something from the EE and my Bank isn't one of the 6 in the interact emt sponsors. But mine offers Hyperwallet and sends money to an email. Does anyone know if the recipient needs an account aswell?

This system works... more flexible than the banks and more accounts qualify.

We've used it for customers numerous times over the past several years without any issues.

Hyperwallet has been a huge pain for me, no better than a cheque! My bank puts a hold on anything from Hyperwallet???

I accepted one payment via Hyperwallet. I had to set up my own hyperwallet account. It cost me money to accept the payment and it took something like 5-6 banking days for the money to be actually deposited to my account.

If I was a private seller, and the buyer couldn't pay via Interac EMT I'd much prefer money order or concealed cash shipped via Xpresspost. Way too much screwing around with hyperwallet.

I ran into this with a customer yesterday he wanted to use hyper wallet I don't accept hyperwallet is not the same kind of emt the banks use... Its slow and cost money I dont use it... was to much hassel.

If your bank doesnt support EMT switch banks and make sure you tell them why. EMT is far preferrable as a seller.
