Hey, I recently acquired a barrel with cno4 mk1 and a large c with an a inside, a 58 stamp and a number 6 on the right bayonet lug, the bore and finish are good/excellent.

What I was wondering is if this was made at the longbranch facility in Canada, I'd be willing to e-mail pics,
And also intrested in value of the barrel, not to sell just want to know.

Thank you for your input

Yup. CAL (Long Branch) made. 6 groove.
Might be worth a bit more than the more common 2 or 5 groove barrels. Going to depend on the bore.

It was a pretty good deal, I purchased a lot of enfield parts it came with 3 complete sporter #1 mk3, two are okay 1 is ey marked and has a poor bore, a smiling tiger barrelled action with stripped bolt, Parker hale ba21 scope base, the barrel, a Jungle Carbine butt pad, a long lee 10 shot mag with the chain link cut off, another early #1 mag with the tabs that fold away to release the floor plate (I didn't know what it was), 4 five shot number 4 mags and another 10 shot number 4 mag, and numerous rear sights, two being wind age adjustable,
Needles to say I'm pretty happy with my acquisitions I'll probably restore two of them, might turn the ey marked rifle into a shotgun
