Not so far in the past these costed less then a burger. I don't eating out anyway, a tin - or two a week I can afford.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) the FT clubs jut far away from my place, otherwise my costs would double ;)

A tin of any JSB pellets has always been more expensive than a burger -- unless the burger is at a restaurant with tablecloths and have servers with pretend foreign accents.
Huhhh, I didn't checked the prices lately, last time ordered a half skid of lead still have couple dozen tins. :)
Can't eat burgers, from ground meat I am hungry after half hour later.... last time probably years ago. Honestly I don't know what is a price on those lately.

A lot of barrel cleaning after these

Just east of Prescott along the St.Lawrence seaway theres a restaurant on the river called the Bridgeview. The bridge to the USA is 400 yards too the east. If you eat the Bridgeview burger meal and are hungry in 30 minutes ill buy you another one and pay for both. Its massive and im not joking. When I guided a lot of big Mercans bragged about how much they could eat. Very few ever came close too finishing and of the few who did, when the homemade pie came out they took a slice with them in the carry out box. PS at 175 lbs at the time(now 215haha)I beat every one of them in eating contests. Many commented how a tall/skinny dude like me could eat soooh much.

I am an austro-hungarian, we eat meat that can't do without a fork and knife :)
Schnitzel (pork) is my favourite, if the chunk is not larger then a dish it is not a schnitzel... and the toppings are endless but the mushroom gravy and tartar sauce is a must . With a half dry half sweet Rizling. Not so good for Da Diet.

The pathetic end of my story at 65 yo, my wife is systematically reducing the volume of meat in the meals in a last year or two. Nothing wrong with that but she is doing a grocery shopping as well...when I open the fridge door ... there is a whole green jungle inside I don't even know the names for half of it. Don't say anything about the sound what her blenders can make, and she is doing it without eyes and ears !!!
Unfortunately my mom didn't teach me to cook and I was relying on wife's skills successfully for over 28 years now, but I am telling my sons don't do the same mistake depending life on a devil :) gotta learn fishing and hunting, some weird time is coming to all of us ;)

I just gained 2000 calories reading this post. Will have food fantasy dreams about schnitzels and monster burgers now. There was a German restaurant in Hamilton Ontario that served huge, delicious Schnitzel dinners and Hungarian goulashs that were world class... I’m lucky I haven’t gained any weight in quite some time. My bathroom scale has been broken and stayed broken for the past 10 years. Cheers
