I would assume that the prices would go down. Considering the last 3 price increases were directly related to the "rising cost of raw materials (copper and lead)". I'd like to see the same excuse used for "the decreasing price of copper and lead", but it probably won't happen.

The amount of lead in ammo (especially .22 cal)is not enough to justify the resent price increase. anyone that states otherwise is usually profiting from the price inflation, and delerious.

$25 / box of 9mm at phoenix range in Edmonton.

Pretty funny considering that I went to WSS first and the same Remington 115 grain was $15.

I like giving "are you out of your mind" type looks to people like that.

Boy you guys should open ammo factories you could corner the world market on cheap ammo:rolleyes:

The big ammo contracts are placed almost a year out. So the manufacturer needs to look at long range trends and not the 30 or 60 day trends. Also you may have noticed that oil prices have not come down. It takes energy to manufacture ammo, and ship ammo. You will not see any appreciable price drops until the winter, and only IF the commodity prices continue downward trends.

OK FELLAS;
I hate to rain on your parade BUT, I have been in this game a long time, I have NEVER seen a price decrease even when a supplier is flooded....

Demand is so high at this time the producers can, and do, charge whatever they please....

As an example .223 SP which we were paying $120./m just 3 years ago, the factory now wants $320./m

Shipping was $3,850. on a container to Mtl just 3 years ago as of yesterday $8,500. and climbing.

I think what I'm saying is get used to it, just like gas prices enjoy getting shafted.

Somebody should, maybe they could set you up :)

Speaking of which, "Canada Ammo", I've been watching your site for about a year now...no ammo for sale. Do you actually have any plans to sell ammo? "cause it's getting a little frustrating logging onto "Canada's source for discount ammunition", only to find that you, in fact, don't sell any.

"Canada's Source for Discount Ammunition" is your slogan.....right?

Let's see:
1. I am "Canadian"
2. I am looking for a "source"
3. I like "discount"
4. I need "ammo"

So...between my (the consumer) and you (the self proclaimed "source")...which one of us isn't holding up our end? :)

Just sayin'...maybe a name change would be in order?

Yes, thank you. We will change our name tomorrow.:p We have had lots of ammo, and have lots more coming.

No offence...but "Lots coming! Get on our email list for updates!" Has been going on for a year now.

Perhaps I'm incorrect, and will admit it if I am...but when exactly was the last time you actually had .223 or .308 listed on your site?

How come a couple of other dealers here ( Primarily "gun stores") have managed to secure vast quuantities of cheap ammo for us (PMC) while you are an "Ammo dealer", yet sell guns...but no ammo?

"Canada Ammo"....Isn't that kinda like naming your business "Mikes used cars", but selling scooters instead?
