I cancelled the colt gold cup and got this!!

Is this stainless or is it just the lighting? I really like STIs (I've got a Ranger II in 9MM) but I've been disappointed that they didn't produce their guns in SS as I've found that their blue type finishes don't stand up very well.

I have that very same gun with the long slide and 6'' barrel. I have heard they are very fine guns but I CANNOT GET PAST THAT LOUSY STINKIN BLUEING. I have had it for a year and still have not shot it. I bought the gun new and never seen a STI before only a pic. When I opened the case for the first time my heart sank for it is so very ugly. It will rot before I EVER SHOOT IT. I only like shiny guns but maybe I'm part crow. Anyway enjoy your new toy.
 
I have a Colt Gold Cup, I love this gun, accurate, reliable and nice on the eyes. The STI looks very nice too, may need to add one to the collection!
