I can't believe how fast SKSs are selling on the EE

Most of the Russians are moving quickly on the EE. The Yugos and Chi-Coms are'nt sticking around for long either.

I find this funny. I got on the SIR list, about 100th to be exact, but I have yet to hear ####e. That being said, I sold my Norinco SKS for the 858 and I am not regreting it one bit. If SIR calls, I will probbaly cancel my order. Like most things, myself included, people can be like lemmings, and they leap because everyone else did....now they are selling what they either couldn't afford, or weren't "allowed" to buy!! :D

What I'm finding hard to believe is the price that run of the mill Norc SKSs are selling for. Six months ago, a Norc SKS might sit for a few BTTs, even with a sub-$200 price tag. Now they seem to flying at $250+!

Capitalism lives, eh?:D

I have an IZH refurb that has been on EE for 3 days at $300 shipped. I dont see why it hasn't sold, it is in very nice condition with great blueing, Grade-1 handpicked. That is $50 cheaper than I paid a month ago. Nice Rifle!!!

Because they're a $200 shipped gun:D;):nest:

I don't buy an sks for more than $180 locally or $200 shipped, or that has been my rule for the last year or so at least.

When you can buy 1,100+ rounds of 7.62 x 39mm for $225-ish makes the SKS and CZ's a great gun to own right now - especially with the price of ammo as we all know.

I just picked up the last one here in town for $250, Russian 1950 refurb.
I've been frantically restripping and refinishing the stock to get to the range this weekend.

I've sold 5 in the last two weeks. Never had one last more than 8 hours. Last one went in less than 30 minutes, yesterday. The one the day before was 3 hours.

lol i admit i bough into the craze but i've wanted one fo so long but was kinda iffy about the norincos cause people either love them or hate them so when i saw the russians i jumped on them like everyone else. Before i bought it though i looked at a couple others and they all sold super fast.

They are so fun to and cheap to shoot! I almost grabbed a second one for 180 on the EE just to have one for a friend to come out and shoot some cheap ammo with me.

Maybe your price needs adjusting - or did that already occur to you, after whining in 3 different threads about your SKS not selling?
Novel idea- raise the price! :D

Including the price of the gun (which was a gift to me but the giver paid $275 new) my SKS-D has $700 into it. I am not selling it though, but if I was I would want that for it. Actually more because I also have yet to pay to have my receiver drilled and tapped for my Choate scope mount, and if a scope was included in the sale there would be that cost as well.

But like I said, I'm not selling it! I just understand how one could cost that much, depending on what has been put into it and done to it.
