Hi there, I'm new to all this firearms stuff but I'm excited and love that there are so many things to go gear crazy over.
I'm a forestry student currently at BCIT, and hopefully next at the U of A. I've recently received my resrtricted and non restricted PAL with the intention of carrying something for my field work. I'll be in Chetwynd in the beautiful Peace region in the summer for some work, but for another few months I'm in Vancouver.
This site's been my best friend for the last week while I've been humming and hawing over which shotgun to purchase. I've got it nailed down to 3 different ones (1st benelli nova, 2nd Mossberg 835, 3rd 870 Wingmaster(yes I know it's out of order with the advice I've seen but I really like the benelli's)).
I am having a real hard time choosing the "best" one as it seems everyone here understands.
I'll keep reading all the good info on here and let you know what I chose.

You will find many knowledgeable shooters and hunter here. It is indeed a great site.
