I channeled my Inner Bernie and fixed my Longbranch

This is owed to a long past mentor and friend.My Longbranch Enfield that I just bought was feeding like crap.Last round popping up ect.I sat down and tried to figure out my problem.I remembered back to my Army cadet days,Watching on old 48th highlander Vet named Bernie Mortenson bending the lips on a mag to make it feed right.A little tweeking later and shes as smooth as Baby sheet.That moment was over 40 yrs ago and Bernie is long Dead.Thanks old man.Dave.

I've had so many similar role models in my life, some of them were on CGN, such as SMELLIE and many others.

All had their specialties and all were more than happy to share their knowledge without looking for payback.

I miss all of them on many occaisions.

Hopefully there is an afterlife for them to putter around in unabashed pleasure

Unfortunately, Paul left the range a number of years ago. Good guy and friend. His son ran the business for while but it seems it's more or less defunct now. More's the pitty.
