I could use a little help pricing a S&w model 25-3 125Th anniversary

So like the title says i need some help pricing a 25-3. I looked online and searched cgn but i have had no luck finding an example to go off of.

The gun is overall in good condition, it has the box and the book but i don't think it has the coin and key.

If any one has bought or sold one any help determining value would be great.

Well, once it's been fired the commemorative aspect of the gun is pretty much gone, so you're stuck with an N frame 45 Colt, and that's not a bad thing, because its still a $700-750 gun. - dan

Thanks for the info. and since you seem to be the only knowlegable person when it comes to this gun thats what i will offer.

They are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them. As this one is only a shooter now (and thats not bad) it is worth much less then if it was unfired. I would say $700.00 on the low side and $900.00 on the high side. I bought a brand new one for $900.00 not the anniv. model with the wooden box though.

Offer whatever you figure you think it is worth to you and if you get it fine and if you don't well so be it.

I like the gun its nice. he also said he had a second cylinder for it in 45auto im not sure if this is true.

Possible, but it needs to be fitted to the gun, and it will have a long jump to the barrel through the throat, if the gap is set right. I've seen it done, it's just kind of fiddly. - dan

Affter doing a little research i found that on the 25-3 you could send the gun back to s&w and they would do this for a pretty penny. im just not sure how to confirm this.
