I went out today to commence an end of season recovery of both my treestand and ground blind from some private propery. I recovered my stand without incident, but my groundblind and folding chair inside.......GONE!

It was by no means a high end item, just a cheapy Teepee style that you can get a Canadian. Nonetheless, it was mine.

I am sure that everyone in this forum has been a victim of this at on point or another, but these "hunters" irratate the $hit out me:mad: . Here's hoping he suffers bandwidth issues and a lack of handcream when downloading his daily fix of foot fetish ####.

Scumbags everywhere. Would steal Christ off the cross and come back for the nails......too bad a fella isn't lucky enough to be near when they are...........now THAT would be a post that needs pics.!!

I had a chair stolen once too! It wasn't a high end item either. But like you said. "it was mine" theiving ba$tards. You think things in the middle of the bush are safe. But it appears they are not. I hope it comes around to them one day.

Dave.

I totally hear ya, I'd love to shoot a round "near" somebody taking off with any of my ####. I had a buddy tell me a couple years ago he put up his two tree stands right at dusk and the next morning before dark when he returned they were already stolen. Must have been somebody on a 4 wheeler watching him the whole time. And another guy I know heard some noise in his backyard and when he went out he caught the reflection off the back lights on his atv as it was being pushed into the woods...HE DEFINANTLY FIRED "near" THEM!...atv was recovered

I welded up my own tree stand and tested on a tree in my yard.Went shopping came back and it was gone.I now always chain and lock my stand to the tree now.

Also heard of a local camp here that had two bucks stoled from thier meat pole while they where out hunting.A third deer was cut down but they must have got scared away.

7 Dozen duck and goose decoys taken off the lake I hunt after dark on the opener this season. Sickening feeling to canoe in at dawn and realize you've been cleaned out.

I've been working in Muslim countries.

One of the good things about Sharia law is that it is easy to spot the convicted thieves. No right hands.

I think it's a good thing. It would be very hard to steal a tree stand with only one hand.
