After much searching, I finally found a 2-1/2" S&W Mod. 19 round butt. Hopefully I can pick it up this week end. Any suggestions for a holster other than Bladetech?

Bwana, this one just came in on consignment at a local shop from an estate. It looks like it was much used and coveted. Some wear on the finish, but mechanically sound. I have lusted after my friends Mod. 19 for a long time now. I used to joke with him and say "I see you brought my gun today". He has a huge collection, but I think his 19 is the last one he would let go of.

I had a 21/2" Model 19, that I sold to friend. It had one of the best S&W triggers I ever felt. I bobbed the hammer, and had a nice Bianchi holster for it. I later replaced it with a 21/2" Python (the same friend also talked me into letting him have that, too. ) Enjoy.

Congrats on Your S&W 19 Snubbie!

They are cool!

Nice guns those M19's,congrats on finding a 2 1/2 rb.

My first revolver was a square butt 19 4 inch which I still own. My uncle-in-law showed me his M19 like your when he worked Immigrations undercover at the Vermont/Canadian border in the 70's and I wanted one ever since.

Last year I did find a M66 round butt in 2 1/2 inch and bought it, (stainless version of M19). I bought a Galco Fletch holster which carries well. It has the thumb break but they make an open top version as well.

Mine is a good shooter and pretty accurate at snubbie range. It's sitting here on the desk right now and I have begun to carry it at times now as I have a CCW license here in Michigan.
