Now if I had a better vehical to get me places when the weather and roads were bad I would have been able to go out and try'er out, funny how the weather gets crappy the day after you bring home yer first gun. Hopefuly next weekend will be better as it's the last weekend I have before I head down to Burnaby for six weeks.

Mmkay so finnally the weather and the roads where clear enought for me to get out and try some target shooting :D , got off about 200 rounds this after noon. Using 20 yrd targets set about 30 paces away, my pace = aprox 3' so how ever many yards that is, I forgot how many feet in a yard:redface :

Here you can see my first ten shots just high of the target, using 40 grain CCI Blazer ammo, also the best of the day using CCI Velocitor rounds

With a bit more fine tuning with the same ammo, another couple of ten shot groups using the blazer ammo again.

If you look back to the first picture you can see, for a unknown reason I shot five instead of ten, with a bit more tweeking and where I switched to CCI Velocitor rounds. After that nice little groupingthings kinda went down hill, the wind picked up and the temps dropped some and I started to get a bit uncomfy so the rest of my time spent shooting wwas used working on hitting targets out 100- 150 yards by my guess.
I used three differant rounds first was the CCI Blazer which gave me no troubles at all in 60 rounds, next 50 I used the CCI Velocitor rounds which gave me only one failer to feed. The next 90 I used Federals American Eagles which I think the only problems was caused by me, the first round out of every mag reloaded would miss fire, for some unknown reason I wasn't bring the bolt back far enough, just enought that it would feed but miss fire, I would remove the round reload and make sure the bolt had been drawn all the way back and let snap back the fire, no problems secound time around.

Weeeeeeee ehat fun, can't wait till next weekend to get out and shoot summore:D
