I have my Bipod now! Pics!

I ordered one from my friend's store and it said fits most bayonet lugs and I got it and it doesn't fit! It's for an AR. But he did me a favor by ordering it and I don't want to complain and seem ungrateful. Argh! Not fair! I was so excited! I was about to put it on and it no work! Waaaaah! Anyone know a good place to get them reasonably priced???? Thanks.

Get one that mounts to the stock, not on the barrel (even if it needs to be custom made).

As anything pushing on the barrel is going to effect barrel harmonics and accuracy.

If you plan on changing your stock out, I have a Harris bipod for sale that mounts to the front sling eyelet.

try harris they have alot of adaptors for their pods and am sure they have one to fit your needs

My biggest problem is money now! I am waiting for another SKS and ammo from Frontier. I am kinda on a budget now. lol

I read that bipods will only fit on the Tapco stocks that do not have the bayonet cutout.

i had a bipod that attached to the bayo lug and i didnt like it so sold it . i like using the sand bag .

1. it wasnt design to be supported at the muzzle so my shots were higher.
2. cumbersome to handle the rifle cos the bipod not locked to the rifle when moving it around .
3. when folded , it will scratch the rifle so never put one on a russian SKS .

Use that then attach a normal bipod. Sell, return, exchange the one that doesn't work.

If you have the tapco with the rail on the underside, otherwise this would be useless.

i have a suggestion , have a member here lend you their bipod to try out before spend your hard earn moola .

Methinks the bi pod mounted on the bayonet lug is yet another one of those ill thought out aftermarket pieces of junk.

As curtton said the rifle was not designed for this.

Mounting a bi pod on the stock is much more stable.
