i have my f.a.c how do i get my restricted?

You have to either challenge the test directly with an approved tester, or sign up and take the restricted course and test once it is done. I am probably going to do the same soon.
 
Have you actually seen your brother's Possession and Acquisition Licence(PAL)? (not an FAC)
On the back, under Possession and under Acquisition, does it say non-restricted and restricted? If it does, maybe he upgraded? Either that or the course instructor screwed up and sent in the wrong info...
What does your PAL say?

Either way, berger is right. Depending on your familiarity with firearms in general and handguns in particular, you might consider challenging the RPAL test.

yes it does, no he didnt up grade. if you took the course from1991-1999 you dont need the new course.
 
the courses taught from 1994-1998 contained both the restricted and non restricted material so no other course would be needed,hmmm...can't understand why the government separated them,was the same price too.
 
just to advise if you challenge the restricted portion and are sucessful, your club will get into great more detail with the handgun safety course as well, ( which is manditory to obtain the club ATT) if your in ontario that is...
