I just recieved my Robarm XCR. First impressions: good fit and finish, everything is there and seems to function, suitably rugged and reasonably handy. Easy to disassemble but you need a wrench to adjust the gas system. I am encouraged so far. Range report to follow in a few days.

RANGE REPORT
I just got back from the range with my new XCRl. Shot 100 rounds, no stoppages. Had one instance where the bolt didn't lock back on the last round. Trigger is typical 2 stage military trigger. Not the best I've seen, not the worst. I had the Gas setting on the highest level (4) which is what the manual recommended for the break in period of 300 rounds. Safety was a little bit stiff to put ON but was OK putting it OFF. Controls are all well placed and functional, Accuracy at 100 M with a 4X Leupold scope was Ok (under 2MOA) with American Eagle 55gr FMJ. My buddy had some IVI 62 grain which shot into one ragged hole at 40 M. Accuracy is typical of what I would expect from a 5.56 military style rifle. All in all I am well pleased with the rifle, a little effort in finding ammo it likes should produce good results and it was reliable out of the box.

Cool... nice pics. I like the look of the XCR alot (I'm waiting for the .308 version), if it ever gets made. Recoil spring is smaller than I'd have thought; but it must work :)

Congrats on your purchase you are one of what... 12 in Canada?! :)

Finally! Somebody with XCR! It's 16" barrel? Get it out to the range at once! Man! I'm so excited, and it's not even mine!

I'm sure it will be sufficiently accurate for it's intended purpose.

Put a thousand rounds through it in an afternoon and get it good and hot and see how it does - that'll be the real test.

There is a Service Rifle shoot at Homestead this Sunday, and a number of fellows are warming up on Saturday as well. Bring her out for a spin!

I beleive wolverine was bringing in 25 initially . They sold 24 to the public and kept 1 for their showroom . Very sweet rifles :shotgun:

Oh, crap, I assumed that it's 16" because it looked so different from the picture of 18.6" from RobArms website. You know the one I'm talking about? Original 18.6" barrel design with extended gas tube on top of the barrel? I just assumed that was the design we were getting in Canada. Nice to know it's normal looking barrel now.

How heavy does the front feel? Compare to, say, 20" barrel AR?
