As for the heckler ( real guns don't get rounded off stripped threads..blahblahblah) Don't mind him. He'll eventually realize where most everything he owns/wears etc actually originates from....and self destruct! lol
Not to mention ...pretty sure seized dry threads on soft small parts aren't limited to Norcs either...

Would be easier to just save money on the ammo and chuck rocks. Which I'm guessing happens on a regular basis anyways.

It's still functional, just ugly. I just tacked it up to pull it off, then welded all around quick with 7018, and ground it flush.

Honestly, it's not a bad idea. You could tig weld it, and really make it look professional if you wanted to. Or even design a gas plug with a socket head instead of a bolt head.

I might be on to something here... lol

Oh, and thought I'd mention that I was able to source a new plug from yomomma. Thanks again man.

Anyway, now that I've got the gun all pulled apart, I'm off to the dishwasher to get it cleaned up.
