Hey guys, i just picked up my S&W 460 XVR (8 1/2" barrel) from the tackle shack in GP, Alberta.

soon as i got home i went and blasted off abunch of bullets when i got home, surprised to say my
wrists are still intact, since i'm able to write this. me and my brother went to the range, and let a
few other guys there give it a shot, everyone was really surprised on how mild it was (except for the
395 grain shots).

the 260 grain 454 Casull loads had torque too, about as much as the 240 grain 460 loads i had for it.

Heres my new baby.

Got a few videos for you guys with us at the range, please don't point out how immature it was to
shoot a ### doll... she deserved it..

Awesomeness to say the least. really happy with my purchase.

As for the problem, i fixed it myself. ;D

I need a range report on those loads... :D

So get out to the range with a chronograph and give us some real data especially on the 395gr bullets...

don't have a chronograph yet, i can only assume. those 395's are very hot loads. probably running 1550-1600fps is my guess.

i just made some 200 grain loads with 46 grains of lil gun.

gonna go try it, i can't shoot very accurately yet, gonna take a rest and see what kind of groups i can get at 50, then 100.

If anyone lives in the dawson creek area, i have no issues with letting them try it out.
