Never discount a rifle that looks like crap with a crap bore, you might be surprised at how good it shoots. Next time the lead sled comes out I am taking this POS with me to see how tight she can really shoot.

The rifle

The target at 50yrds (snowing so hard I had trouble seeing the 100). 160gr cast over 11 grs of unique, 15 rnd string

It happens more often than you think. I have seen mint rifles groups like crap. probably why they are in mint..

Still the rifle looks great..

If you learn to paper patch, each shot help's polish the bore.
Nice grouping by the way.

I have always been curious about paper patching but it seems like too much trouble.
I received this fin capture 91/30 as part of a deal for free minus the bolt & hanguard. Anybody have a spare 91/30 handguard? I want a beat up one to coat in pine tar & make look as crappy as the rest of the gun.
