Even the ranges around here seem to not much care to allow air rifle activity.

Langley Rod & Gun only allow air pistols lately and only for like a single hour during select days of the month or something.
Abbotsford Fish & Game, I'm on the waitlist and outsiders these days seem discouraged to attend unless as a guest of someone else
Several ranges around here are shotgun only
I have no idea what's going on with Ridgedale Rod & Gun, but it's also strange "Can only do rifles on the 3rd and 4th thursdays of each month" and such
Chilliwack Fish & Game needs membership but I dunno about you i'm not paying a full year's membership in November for it to expire in December. I'll just have to wait until January.

But like, it's also the GVA, which according to about every by-law states i'm never allowed to have this thing anywhere to do anything with unless I drive 4h up north first too.. what, plink at some cans and punch some paper with .177's?

Sorry for the tone, I'm just a little frustrated. Dont take it the wrong way. The information is scarce and what little I am able to dig up is highly sus at best. More so, I'm just a little shocked actually that the ranges around here are so intensely restrictive with the what and the when, when the when's for the what's are very double-takey

Thanks for that bunny, seems to be the exact same situation as the Chilliwack one, non pro rated calendar year memberships required, so I'll just have to see which of the two I'd join come January

The Mission Rod & Gun has a monthly field target shoot for air rifles that you can drop in without a membership! Usually last Sunday of every month. I'll have to get back out there when I have time.

Hi I'm sorry to intrude and join in the conversation but I just want to ask how many hours do they allow without a membership?

Barfman has driven me out there a bunch of times as we're both in Vancouver, and I don't drive. Perhaps a dozen Airgun Field Target sessions over a few years? None since the pandemic of course... Great bunch of people and lots of fun whether it's plinking or informal competition walking around to steel target stations and counting score. Everyone pitches in for setup and takedown. I'm not a member there, but it wasn't a problem as I was a 'guest' of a member and paid my small fee for each day - $5 and signing in on a form. They posted the monthly shoot date on a club calendar, but lately that site seems not to work. I always used to know when it was coming up from one or two regulars posting on airgunforum.ca but I stopped visiting that forum, too much abusive behaviour over there.
