I miss the old Lee Enfield forum!!

Yes I agree it was a special group of collectors from all over the world, I was even a Forum sponsor for over a year untill Mark died duddenly.

I hung out at BritishRifles.com for 3 or 4 years, but it started to
lose it's "Pub" feel after 9-11 when the Mericans started getting
a bit nasty toward ferriners.
I hadn't been on there for over a year when Mark passed away.

I still miss the characters there.....except Sukey of course. He's here,
and Warren recently started posting here as well.

Gosh, think how many of us have actually met, as a result of the old Britishguns?

Brian and Rich, you've already posted here... Mark S., Darby... Mike D. and I were just at the range together yesterday...

And I've traded parts back and forth with all sorts of others from the old forum. (Sir Sukey, Lewis M., and MANY others!)

T'was truly a nice place, but I would concur with Leftent's comment about it doing a bit of an attitude shift... Of course, that happens anywhere!

There do seem to be a fair number of "us" that are here, thank goodness!

:)

Whoops! Sorry Nelly, I didn't mean to omit you and the missus!

Or Mike,

Or Mark...Working on a deal with him now!

Unfortunately Longbranch (Can't remember what name he used on the LE Forum) and Steve moved on from here to greener pastures a few months ago.

I do miss The carrion bird Maynard though!

Leftent:

No offence taken!

Longbranch is still around here on occasion.... AND he has quite the collection of Canadian Enfields!!

:)
