i need a detachable mag made how can i do it

oka i want to customize a detachable mag for my .308 its a mauser 89 and a have a stock form advanced technologies but its solid and i can only top load my rounds so removing can be a pain so im not sure how to go about it any tips, and the spelling may be off so ya i think u can get my drift thanx

You may find this a little too difficult to do. I don't own one of these rifles but if it doesn't have a magazine catch, you would have to put one on. Fabricating a detachable magazine has it difficulties as well, you would be better off buying one in .308 and attempt to match it to the rifle.

I don't think it is worth the trouble.

There are mags made for the M98 trigger guard. Kind of clunky but it does work. Best to use a stock already inletted for the trigger guard.

The mag replaces the floorplate and apparently works with the standard action.

Cost and availability is a whole other issue.

I have a Gibbs for a Mauser 98 action (22-250). This particular one is single stack. Once fitted, it works OK.
