I Need a Gunsmith to build up a K98 Sniper Rifle

I bought a crappy K98 rifle with what I believe to be the proper mount and scope for one of the sniper rifle variants with the intent to get the correct mount and scope ( in VG condition ) put on a Excellent condition K98.

I need someone who can do the work and is knoledgeable about the K98 snipers

Before you ask I am not interested in selling the scope or mount

Anyone know someone I should contact?

You would have better luck finding someone outside of Canada. Waffen Arms has some nice (repro)snipers listed here:

What type of mounts are you using?

If you are using turret mounts, they can be used and hold zero with only soldering and not drilling and tapping the receiver.

Any other mount- Claw type, side rail, etc. , probably will need machining, tapping and drilling, and woodwork.
