I just purchased a .22-250 in a Tikka T3 lite with 22" barrel (stole it at $599.00 at Bass Pro in Vaughn). I would like to use 40 grain v-max's as I have lots of them. What powder has anyone had high velocity and good accuracy with? I would like to break the 4000fps barrier. I already have my .243 setup to run 55 grain Nosler ballistic tips at 3950, so I am not really interested in using 55's in my .22-250. My main target will be groundhogs and crows with the occasional coyote.
I need a varmint load for .22-250, suggestions please.
