Hi,I have a enfield not much markings but stamped with U.S. model of 1917 winchester sir number is 203368.There is no cal.might be 30-40krag or 303?

Unless it has been rebarreled, it should be a P17 made by Winchester in .30-06 Springfield.

If memory serves correctly, the caliber is stamped on the barrel. A trip to a qualified gunsmith should reveal the caliber if you are in doubt.

P14's are .303brit, US M1917 is 30'06, in their original chamberings. Many of these were sporterized and rebarrel to different cartridges. If the barrel is original, it should have a date and manufacturer marks on top, just before the front site. If it's been sporterised, might want to have a gunsmith take a quick look at it.

up by the sight is 3-18,it is missing all top wood,and some one but on recoil pad:eek: bore is good.The stock is cracked,not sure if I will shoot it but now I know what it is.
