I need some Psrker Hale rings to fit this rifle. It has the bases already (I'm sure they are PH bases. No slot so...?) So does anyone know a source?

Thanks everyone. Steve

If you post a photo of the bases you may find out something useful. PH rings and bases have been out of production for years, so sources are random sellers of used items.

That was a good idea! So here's hoping. The rear base says Parker Hale.

Thanks for looking everyone. SJ

Find a S&K no drill mount, works very well and probably easier to obtain than what you are looking for. Then you can use regular bases.

I think the rear base reads "BA 21"; the front one should be a BA 20 (or "A 20"), so you are looking for Parker Hale RAHS.3 rings. The "R" is for roll-off, the "A" is about the width which is about 19mm or so (there is a "B" series of bases that are narrower at 17 mm or so), the "H" is for high height - this will allow the scope to clear the aperture on the rear base which allows you to use irons (if you still have the from sight installed) when you remove the scope. I have seen them filed off flat which then allows the RALS.3 ("L for "low") rings to be used so long as the scope has minimal objective bell. The "S" refers to "stud" - often the RAHS rings have a recoil stud only in the rear base, not in the front one. The ".3" refers to ring diameter for a 1" scope - a ".4" refers to 26 mm which ahas a common European scope used on the Envoys and Enforcers. I have bought about 6 or so sets of these rings over past year - here on CGN and also on evilBay, especially from Britain.

I see the rings you need offered more often than the bases, so you are not too badly off. Unfortunately I see the low rings offered more than the high. If you decide to settle for the low rings, don't file the sight aperture off your rear base. I'll swap you one already ruined like that. Or if you want to use the S&K mount suggested by enfield303t in post #4 I have one of those I'll trade you. As he said, they work well and they take rings that fit regular Weaver-style mounts. It attaches in place of the rear sight like your rear PH base does. (That's what I don't like about the S&K is that you have only the scope. I always like to have iron sights in place for backup, which that PH base provides.)
