I bought a PCMR 94 off the EE recently and when I recieved it I think it may not be a legit PCMR rifle. The Broad arrow stamps look way to crisp, the serial # is off from what I have been able to research, its in the 1185### range. I have contacted the seller but he hasn't gotten back to me yet and I don't feel it was intentionally misrepresented.

Thanks guys.

The pcmr rifles wre in the 1,300,000 series made in 40s. the one you have if it is not c-arrow marked on the action, but only on the woods, then it is a parts gun. it is way too early to be a marked PCMR issue unless it was a private gun that just happened to get marked. But usually the metal strikes are worn and very slight. The pics do show a very (I think ) recent strike The guns were well used and battered. And the front sling mount was a front band of a few different styles.

Thanks for the reply's I also thought the serial was way too low, and the the strikes in the wood looked pretty new to me as well. I have also seen a couple of different front sling mounts but what really bothered me about this one is it is too far forward and there isnt enough slack in the sling for it to be used with the military sling.

I agree. I have have owned and examined several PCMR 94s in the past. I still own one. The c broad arrows on yours look suspicious. It also does not fall into the right serial number range.
