I am building my first AR and have everything for the lower. To finish this economy build ASAP would the DPMS 16" Upper be a reasonable way to go? I intended to build the upper later but with the Liberal BS I'm hearing I want a complete rifle now. (I'm seeing the upper online for $425.00).

TNA has the DPMS upper for $285. You still need a BCG and charging handle. If all you're worried about is the price I would go that way.
Thanks, I've since found the DPMS 16" Panther Complete Upper for $359.00. As a plinker and "foot in the door" AR is the DPMS a reasonable place to start?
Yes it is a good upper to start with, I have 2 buddies who have run Panthers in 2 gun for the last couple of years and they are fine for what you want. They are accurate, reliable and cheap, can't go wrong with one

Unfortunately shipping is $82 for the $359 complete upper. TNA looks like the better deal after all. I'd like it to be complete though. Thanks RangerPark.
