"I only shoot for fur"

My current fur gun is an M77 mkII in 204Ruger with a jard 1lb trigger. Launching 35grBerger varmints just shy of book max I've yet to have one exit. Gotta try and dig up some pics, these threads are better with pics.

That 20practical would be a sweet fur rifle for sure. And I've always wanted a .17 Remington, but I believe a guy would do well with the fireball as well. Never tried a swift on coyotes, but I'd like to. And.....and....

Damn I miss predatorhuntcanada :(

I have a buddy and between him self, his brother, his dad and his uncle, they must be close to 8 or more 17 rems they regularly run for coyotes. 25gr hornady Hp bullets, no idea on powder. I know I saw one with shot with 25gr vmax up close and you'd aware a guy was using a 3006 for them, but the rest seem to be fine. But with the wind we have in sask, that little bullet really moves around....

I have2 243s, a Ruger77, and a Rem 700. I have used from 53 gr Mc Crakken to 78 Vmax. At over 200 yd most leave the pelt ok. Calling I use a 40-45 gr. in a 22 hornet. New toy is a 17 rem. have yet to shoot a coyote. I have a buddy that now does the skinning, :), most are shot in spring calving season so no $$ value except to rancher.
