I really feel stupid but I gotta ask

Ok don't laugh.
I have been precision ( kind of) bench shooting for a couple of years now and my rear bag is a protektor brand one that I bought from a guy and that was already filled with sand.
Lately, I have bought more protektor gear (brand new) and I have to fill them. I bought the appropriate funnel from Sinclair but my problem is when I pull out the little latch Under the protektor bag, there is no hole. Do I have to pierce one? How do you fill these?

Ok now you can have a good laugh but please help me...

The little flap you pull out is where you fill it. Squeeze the flap together from the sides and it should open up.

The little tab has a hole in the end that the funnel goes into.
