Arch1965's post got me thinking. I don't own a real target rifle. I've got accurate rifles, but I really want somthing like this. Maybe a .223 or .22-250. A nice 18X scope mounted up, and some good loads would be a fun rifle on the bench, and more fun in the gopher fields. Any thoughts?

The XR-100 should be a great gopher and paper puncher. I hear the triggers are nice. They are a Model Seven action with a solid bottom receiver, single shot. Handled on ewhen they first came out a couple years ago,..haven't seen many around. Can't see why they wouldn't be popular...the price was right as I recall...

This girl is just plain pretty.

Or the SPS? It's about $400 cheaper, but I think it has lost nothing over the fancier rigs. And that $400 will go a long ways towards a nice scope!
