Depending on the optic/mounting system, at worst shims would correct for any angle issues. Remember, they used to mount scopes horizontally on rifles. And the t81 is a x39 3-8 MOA rifle...
I was wondering if anyone made a mount to replace the rear sight (like they make for SKS's). That would align the optic with the barrel and remove the need for mounting an optic crooked to match the bend.Yeah you would have to mount the optic in a constant offset to compensate for the bent barrel. It really isn't worth the trouble. Irons are totally unaffected by this problem at least.
any gunsmith "did" this if you were to bring it to them when these were free from the safes. any mount relates back to the alignment game like on a car, make it true. no car is straight.I was wondering if anyone made a mount to replace the rear sight (like they make for SKS's). I remember that someone had made a red dot mount that was installed on the rear sight but I don't remember who and I can't find it when googlingI was wondering if anyone made a mount to replace the rear sight (like they make for SKS's).
