Technically I suppose this could go into MBR, Red Rifles, or black and green shotguns. But I figured this was the best place because its a combination of them all.

I`ve always wanted a FN 49 in 30-06. I`m jealous!

I had one in 94 or so after lusting for one for years. I wasn't in perfect shape but so what? I went out with great anticipation and loaded up, carefully squeezing off...it ran full auto. OOPS...Had to order a few parts and try again. Eventually someone had to have it so away it went. Love the bayonets for those things...

that garand makes my mouth water... so does the stock on the m14.

how do they shoot?

They all shoot really well, the M-14 however, is in a league of its own. Then again, its the only one that isn't 60 years old, and the only one with the match barrel.

Thanks for the comments guys, makes me feel really good that I am not the only guy who appreciates wood and steel.

I am thinking of a K31 or one of the Swedish 1896 Mausers next. Would really love an all original, excellent condition Ross Mk. III too.
