If you looked at the pic it appears as if there is a casing that goes over the bullet, and the bit so that you don't drill to deep. As a matter of fact, I do have a bunch of drill bits here, just like I would expect any non EMT ball shaving gun nut to have.;)

Only a lost in the 20th century non-EMT using ball shaving gun nut would find it economical to drill a HP into every .22 he has. :rolleyes: ;) Buck up and pay a dollar more a brick and buy real HP's.:p

Funny, HPs in Remington's line are cheaper at Le Barons then their solids. And I fine the HPs more accurate then solids.

I shoot Mini Mags mostly. I have Velocitors and some Federals also.
