Hey folks, I've done about as much research as I can do. I am partial to both the Glock and the CZ75b but brother in-law has the cz, and old man has the glock. I want something different and understand that the M&P is essentially like the glock, and the Baby eagle is like the CZ. I am a recreational shooter and will not be doing any sort of competition. I know the M&P is definatly the more common choice. Who has shot these, and what did you think?
For purpose of full discrestion I am leaning more heavily toward the baby eagle, purely on a looks stand point...has to be ###y too!

I've shot the M&P and thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the recoil snappy, but I mostly shoot revolvers, so that's a personal thing. If you've shot Glock, you won't feel a giant difference. The grip angle is a little more ergonomic, I feel, than a Glock. But personally, I feel they could both stand to be a little thinner side to side in the grip.

The Jericho, as it's now called, is a CZ style pistol. This means it's an internal rail pistol. This automatically makes it inherently more accurate than either Glock or M&P. This aids in keeping the muzzle down in recoil. The slide recoils back more effectively. In practice, I'm not sure the difference would be vastly noticeable to the majority of shooters. I've not shot it, so I can't really give you a performance report.

The Jericho does come in steel or polymer frame models, if that makes a difference for you.

Finally, the Jericho is DA/SA with an exposed hammer. The M&P is a striker fired, "safe action" pistol. The trigger pull is always the same.

The question is, which do you prefer? Everyone has an opinion on their own personal preferences, but that doesn't really help you. There's advantages and disadvantages to both, but in practice, it's down to what you like. Neither are junk.

Why don't you buy one, try it for awhile and see if you like it? If you don't, you can always trade someone for the other. These pistols hold their value.
