I want a 7.62x39 or 300 Blackout bolt action with a 10 or 20 round magazine.

I would like to get my hands on a bolt action rifle in either 300 Blackout or 7.62x39 (or any other intermediate 30 Cal) with preferably a 20 round magazine, but 10 will do. Basically a modern version of an Enfield no1 or no4.

Does such a rifle exist?

My brother in law has one in 5.56. It’s clunky, I liked shooting it. 20 round mags were nice, probably the biggest thing it had going for it. Cheaper to feed than all my 3 round internal mag hunting rifles. Never ended up getting one , but might have to happen now.. I’ll bet this next round of bans they go after everything that even LOOKs tactical.

You can rebarrel an Enfield to 7.62x39. Modifying the magazine will be more work than the rebarrel.

I bet with some fiddling you could get those MRX mags to take 7.62x39, then you could use them in a ruger ranch.

I have a Ranch in x39 with the Mini-5-round mag. It's quite accurate with Good Factory ammo, and as said, you can swap the feed to AR. I'd avoid the 'big mags' just due to the next few 'bans' unless Libs get dumped. You can always get a big mag when the laws change.

Savage 110 Scout is the ticket.

Shes a heavy bugger though. 7.7lb with the Savage stock, 8.6lb with the Magpul stock according to Savage. That is a heavy 223rem if its not going to be a bench gun, easily go over 10lb once you add an optic and a full mag.

I'd get a Ruger Ranch for the weight savings personally, and I have no issues with Savage rifles in general.

Not a bad idea to buy now, even if the Liberals ban 'em. They'll only be more expensive in the future once the CPC makes 'em legal again.
