i want to start reloading

As title says, i want to start reloading my ammo. I have been keeping my brass for a long time and its time for me to do it. Only problem is, i have no idea how and what ill need and all. Anyone has a nice "Reloading for dummies" or something along those lines for me?

Just go back a couple pages in this section and look at what others have written to the same question. Tons of good responses.

I'm in the same position as you, just starting to get into reloading so I don't have much advise, but the little advice I do have is read, read, and read. There is so much information on this forum as well as elsewhere on the internet its mindboggling.

Pick yourself up a copy of modern reloading second edition from cabelas or wholesale sports and a if you are looking for a great kit with almost everything you need the lee 50th anniversary kit retails at both those stores for around $130.00 then all you'll need is a set of dies for your calibre of choice and components. Bullets, brass, powder, and primers. I got started by reloading for my 44 magnum revolver and it has become a very enjoyable hobby. You don't have to spend a lot to get great or amazing results. You'll love it. Welcome to the next level.

i found the lee reloading book 2nd edition to be very good. i also have a lyman one that i use sometime

Start with simple tools first.
How many cartridges will you be loading for?

have a look a book called the ABC's of reloading, its a good place to start and than pick up a few manuals.
the Lee manual does have a wide variety of loading data but i always like to have more than one source.

For that, I'd recommend the Lee 50th kit plus the Lee dies you'll need. That should get you started for well under $200 (of course, I'm not including the costs of a manual and how-to book on reloading or the primers, powder and bullets).
